We have the very best of the warmth and olde world charm of the Victorian era complimented with modern facilities. The original building dates from Victorian times and has retained the character and charm of this period with the addition of a modern extension we have 34 rooms of the highest standard.  Several of these are our deluxe four-poster rooms. All have all the facilities you would expect, including en-suite bathroom and shower and Jacuzzi. All our other rooms have en-suite bathrooms and shower tea and coffee-making facilities, TV and hair driers. Parking is no problem with our large private secure car park.  We also cater for all your business needs we have conference facilities for up to 110 delegates in three modern and well equipped rooms. There is a large pleasant dining room where breakfast is served each morning. If you have had a hard days sightseeing, or just a busy days shopping, why not relax in the Minster bar. It is well stocked with champagne, fine wines, spirits and liqueurs, and a good range of draught and bottled beers.  The 60 Below Restaurant has an excellent reputation for food of the highest quality. We use only the finest ingredients, which our head chef Carl Shewan then prepares with loving attention to make all your meals with us exquisite. Unique and creative menus are designed and prepared by Carl on a daily basis.  Throughout your stay you can be sure that there will always be someone available to attend to your every need.
