The Yorkshire School of Plastering is a course designed to teach specific skills in the shortest possible time to a professional standard. The course is held over four days either Monday to Thursday or two consecutive weekends 9.30am - 5pm and are suitable for anyone, no matter what background you come from. You may want to change your career or just learn a new skill, whatever your reason you will find our course very rewarding both personally and financially.
Who may apply for the course? The course is suitable for anyone. It does not matter if you have little or no experience, the course is completely practical - there is no written work and you will learn the skills needed to work on your own or as part of a team. Of course you may want to learn plastering purely to work on your own property etc.
Weekday courses Weekday courses start every Monday and run continually throughout the year. Please ring for availability.
Weekend courses We recognize that many students find it difficult to attend throughout the week and can't afford to take time out from work in order to learn new skills. The weekend courses allow you to attend Saturday and Sunday on two consecutive weekends saving loss of earnings and disruption to the normal week.
By the end of the course you will have the knowledge and skills required to enter the domestic plastering industry. All our courses are practical throughout with no written work or exams. You will receive essential reference material so you can recap later after completing your training. Working clothes and appropriate footwear are essential for the course. How to find us The Yorkshire School of Plastering is centraly located for both the M1 and M62 for easy access: From the M1 junction 39 take the A636 towards Wakefield. Go straight on at the first roundabout. Go straight on at the second roundabout passing Pugneys Country Park on your right. At the traffic lights get into the second lane going straight on. Headway Business Park is on your right just over the brow of the hill.
