HEALDS HALL HOTEL

Play Video: 56k | 100k | 300k

Set in peaceful surroundings within established gardens, the hotel is ideal for business and leisure. Healds Hall offers all the benefits of a prestigious hotel whilst retaining the relaxed atmosphere characteristic of a family run hotel. Healds Hall enjoys a good reputation for friendly service and hospitality.

History Built in 1764, Healds Hall was the largest house in Spen Valley. The Hall first became famous through links with the Bronte family when it was owned by the Reverend Hammond Roberson, immortalised as the Reverend Matthew Helston in Charlotte Bronte's novel 'Shirley.'

Location Located on the A62 in the centre of West Yorkshire, Healds Hall is 3 miles from the M62 and 4 miles from the M1. Healds Hall is conveniently situated for all major roads and rail networks, giving easy access to Huddersfield, Bradford and Wakefield with Leeds only 9 miles away. Leeds/Bradford Airport is within easy reach.

Conferences and Meetings Healds Hall is the perfect venue for conferences, training courses, private meetings and seminars. A purpose built conference and banqueting suite was completed in 1992. Theatre style, the suite can accommodate up to 100 delegates in the main room, and there is also an adjoining room, ideal for smaller groups, separate syndicate or interview room. A range of audio visual equipment is provided and additional items can be arranged on hire. Fax and photocopying facilities are available.

Bedrooms Healds Hall has 24 comfortable en-suite bedrooms all furnished to a high standard. Each bedroom includes tea/coffee making facilities, hair dryer, an iron and a trouser press, radio and colour TV.

Weddings & Functions Healds Hall is renowned for excellent wedding receptions. The new function suite can seat up to 120 guests at a formal wedding breakfast and up to 200 guests for an after wedding function. Every care is taken to ensure a memorable wedding day. The landscape gardens grace many wedding photographs and are used in the summer for pre-reception drinks. There is a superb choice of menus available to make your wedding day a day to remember.

Harringtons Restaurant & Bistro The tastefully decorated 'fine dining' restaurant is an ideal setting in which to relax and enjoy the outstanding cuisine. There is an extensive a la Carte menu, including some interesting vegetarian dishes. Top chefs produce food of the highest quality using only the finest fresh local ingredients.

For a more relaxed atmosphere eat in our modern NEW BISTRO. There are lots of exciting choices to try. A carefully selected wine list provides drinks to compliment any meal.

Weekend Breaks Bargain Weekend Breaks are available throughout the year (including most Bank Holidays). Weekend breaks include dinner and traditional English breakfast. Gift vouchers are available.
