The Ice Arena is on the first floor above Mecca Bingo and adjacent to the National Museum of Film Photography and Television. Other nearby landmarks are the Alhambra Theatre and the Central Police Station. To find us, follow the signs for the City Centre or the Museum. The Ice Arena is also in easy reach of the Bradford Interchange (bus and trains).
We are open for public skating 364 days of the year (Christmas Day excluded). On Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, there are no evening sessions at the rink.
The company was incorporated on 13 May 1996 with the following objectives: to provide facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the conditions of life for the benefit of the public; the advancement of physical education amongst children and young persons up to the age of 25 years.
In furtherance of these aims, through its trading subsidiary Ice Time Limited, it entered into an operating lease with Rank Leisure Limited to run Bradford Ice Arena.
